Silk Lanterns

Handmade from silk and bamboo, these Vietnamese silk lanterns from Hoi An are available in a range of sizes, colours and shapes. Each one is carefully constructed by an artisan in Vietnam using hand harvested bamboo and pure silk with beautiful colours and patterns.

The different shapes of the lanterns are made to echo the shapes of the fish traps upon which they are based. We stock a variety of shapes including teardrop, round and diamond shaped lanterns. There is also a great range of amazing colours to choose from including teal, purple, light blue and red silk lanterns.

Traditionally hung on the full moon, these lanterns are said to bring good luck to the house they inhabit.
